You’re Doing Better Than You Think, Mama 💛

Plus: A little grace, a kid-approved craft, and some Monday encouragement inside.

Happy Monday, Valley Moms!

🥶 Did you know? The world record for the fastest time to eat a popsicle is 15.17 seconds… meanwhile, your toddler just let theirs melt onto the dog.

MOTHERHOOD

From one mom to another: When you’re running on empty

Kids crying and mom staying cool. Mother’s Day. Mom win

There are seasons in motherhood when everything feels like a lot. The diaper changes, the snack refills, the sunscreen battles, the constant questions, the guilt when you snap, the guilt when you don't do enough. Some days you feel like you’re giving from a cup that’s already bone dry.

If you're already having one of those weeks, just know this: you're not alone, and you’re not failing. These exhausting days don’t define your motherhood. The love you give, even when you’re tired, counts. The showing up, the small laughs, the silly bedtime songs — they matter. And you’re doing better than you think.

Popsicle painting!

☀️ Hot day activity alert!

This week’s craft is popsicle painting, a perfect combo of sensory fun and a cool-down activity. All you need:

  • Popsicle sticks

  • Ice cube tray

  • Water + food coloring

  • A little patience

Pour water and food coloring into an ice cube tray, stick popsicle sticks in, and freeze. Let your kids “paint” on white cardstock or butcher paper outside! The colors melt slowly and blend beautifully. It’s washable, fun, and actually looks pretty cool taped up on the fridge.

Bonus: This activity works great during snack time (especially with actual popsicles nearby).

ONE LAST THING

A moment of grace

Quiet Time\ Journaling

When no one sees the ten times you’ve picked up the same toy or the emotional gymnastics of getting your toddler out the door, God sees you.
He sees the sacrifice, the stretched patience, the whispered prayers. He’s not asking for perfection — He’s inviting you to lean on Him when you’re weak.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28
