Faith, Fall, and a Little Halloween Perspective π
Faith-based reflections, fall colors, local events, and a special guide for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.
Happy Monday, Valley Moms!
π Fun Fact: The worldβs largest corn maze is in Dixon, California β spanning over 60 acres! Thatβs nearly the size of 48 football fields. π½
The Valley is buzzing with pumpkin patches, fall festivals, and family fun β but for many Christian parents, October also stirs deeper questions. This week, weβre leaning into thoughtful faith conversations, meaningful reflection, and plenty of cozy, fall-inspired family time.

Activity: Pumpkin Volcano Experiment π
Turn your jack-oβ-lantern into a mini science lab!
Hereβs how:
Scoop out your pumpkin (the messier, the better).
Add a few spoonfuls of baking soda inside.
Pour in some vinegar mixed with orange food coloring (and a little dish soap for extra bubbles).
Watch it erupt!
Kids will love watching their βpumpkin volcanoβ fizz and foam β and itβs a fun, hands-on way to sneak in a little science while celebrating the season.
π‘ Tip: Use small pumpkins for less mess and let your kids name their creations!

Our Mom of the Month for October isβ¦Rachel H.!
Hereβs what one of her dear friends had to say about her:
βRachel is a mom of 3 under 3, and is completely crushing it! As her postpartum doula, Iβve witnessed her continuously strive to be a better mom every day. It has been awe-inspiring the way she cares for her twins and toddler with such compassion, intention, and positive energy. She wakes up each day prioritizing her family and caring for all those around her. She is thoughtful about the way she raises her kids to have values that emulate kindness and respect. (Not to mention - she has been a breastfeeding champion - providing for her children for the past 2.5 years!) She is an absolutely incredible mama, wife, daughter, and friend!
Congrats, Heather! Enjoy a tasty treat from Mela Coffee Roasting Co. & The Motherβs Garden LLC!
