Happy Monday, Valley Moms!
Fun Fact: August 21 is National Eat a Peach Day — so if you needed a reason to hit a local fruit stand, this is it! We’ve got plenty listed in our U-Pick & Farm Guide.
We’re halfway through August, and while the days are still warm, we can all feel that whisper of fall in the air. Whether you’re savoring the last bits of summer or already dreaming of pumpkin patches, this week’s newsletter has a mix of fun ideas, local events, and encouragement for wherever you’re at.

Activity of the Week: DIY Bubble Snakes 🫧
Turn your backyard into a bubble wonderland with this easy, low-cost craft.
You’ll need:
An empty plastic water bottle
An old sock
Dish soap + water
How to make it:
Cut the bottom off the water bottle.
Slip the sock over the open end and secure with a rubber band.
Dip the sock end into a dish soap + water mix.
Blow through the bottle’s mouthpiece to create long, foamy “bubble snakes.”
Tip: Add a drop of food coloring to the soap mixture for rainbow bubbles!

Our Mom of the Month for August is…Jessica S.!
Here’s what one of her dear friends had to say about her:
“She is selfless and has been someone who has been there for me during my struggles in motherhood. We both became mom’s for the first time almost 2 months apart and have leaned on each other since. She works full time and takes care of her baby so well. She prioritizes her baby always and has been someone I look up to as a wife and mother.“
Congrats, Jessica! Enjoy a tasty treat from Mela Coffee Roasting Co.!

💛 Valley Mom Feature
New on the Blog: Bidding Wars and Baby Bottles
This month’s feature dives into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of Wenatchee real estate — all through the eyes of Aubrey, a local mom who’s on the edge of new motherhood and simultaneously negotiating offers.
In Bidding Wars and Baby Bottles, Aubrey shares what it’s like to work as a real estate agent while navigating pregnancy, the importance of building a strong support system, and more.
Her story is a mix of hustle, heart, and hard-won perspective — and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
🙏 August Bible Verse of the Month
In a season of launching, planning, and pouring yourself out — don’t forget to rest. God’s strength shows up best in our weakness.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
